<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate luminance unevenness in boundaries among reflecting plates each of which has a shape composed of duplicate semiellipses. <P>SOLUTION: A first ellipse 25 having a first focus 10 and a second focus 21 and a second ellipse 26 having a first focus 10 and a second focus 22 have the first focus 10 in common. A cross section of the reflecting plate 3 has the shape composed of duplicate semiellipses, figured by dividing contours of the ellipses 25 and 26 with a straight line passing through the common focuse 10, and other focuses 21 and 22. The reflecting plate 3 with the shape composed of duplicate semiellipses surrounds a linear light source 1, and carries out regular reflection and diffuse reflection to a diffuser sheet 4 of the light from the liner light source 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
