<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence information management system whereby an analog telephone set can register its own presence information. <P>SOLUTION: The presence information management system includes: an IP exchange 11 for accommodating and connecting to IP phones 3; and a presence server 13 for providing registered presence information of a desired opposite party to an IP phone in response to a presence notice request. The IP exchange includes an IP memory section 33 for acquiring, registering and managing presence identification information associated with the desired presence information in response to dialing of the analog telephone set, the presence server includes a server control section 26 making communication connection to the IP exchange for a period of 5 seconds and automatically collecting the presence identification information registered in the IP memory section 33, and an internal database 25 for registering and managing the presence information corresponding to the presence identification information, and the server control section provides the registered presence information of the analog telephone set of the desired opposite party in response to the presence notice request from the IP phone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
