PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a failure in electric continuity by protecting a connecter from damage. SOLUTION: A projection lens is arranged in front of a housing 1. A cable C2 is connected to the housing 1 through a connector 3 made up of a jack 3A arranged at a rear-face lower part of the housing 1, and a plug 3B engaged with the jack 3A. Then, a video image is projected from the projection lens in the projector. A storage space for storing the jack 3A in the housing 1 is arranged at a rear-face lower part in a recessed way in the housing 1. The jack 3A is formed along a guide rail 9 in the storage space 8 so that the jack 3A can come out and back(a, b). An opening/closing lid 11 is provided for opening and closing the opening 8a of the storage space 8, and the opening/closing lid 11 and the jack 3A are jointed with a jointing lever 12. By opening (c) the opening/closing lid 11, the jack 3A is drawn to the opening 8a of the storage space 8 through the jointing lever 12 so that the plug 3B is engaged with the jack 3A.
