PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-type beverage vending machine capable of selling a beverage according to an amount of money carried by a user, and selling the beverage of an amount desired by the user. SOLUTION: This cup-type beverage vending machine having a selection button 22 selecting the beverage to be purchased, and a coin mechanism 31 and a bill validator 32 receiving a price for the purchased beverage from an input money amount, and preparing the selected beverage inside it when the beverage to be purchased is selected and when receiving the price for the beverage, has a money amount change selection button 26 allowing a change of a received money amount, and prepares the beverage of an amount equivalent to the input money amount when the change of the received money amount is selected.
