摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic latent image development having excellent thin line reproducibility of printing and suitable for high-resolution image formation with less by-product deformed toner in toner manufacture by suspension polymerization. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the toner for electrostatic latent image development includes: a suspension step of suspending a polymerizable monomer composition containing a polymerizable monomer and a colorant in an aqueous dispersion medium to obtain a suspension in which liquid droplets of the polymerizable monomer composition are dispersed; and a polymerization step of carrying out suspension polymerization using the suspension to obtain colored resin particles, wherein in infrared transmissivity measurement when the suspension before the polymerization step is subjected to centrifugal separation at 25°C and 6 G, saturation infrared transmissivity in an optical path length of 10 mm is 10-70%.
