PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing room having illuminator, which is designed such that even a person taking a photograph who does not have professional knowledge is able to properly illuminate a person as a subject. SOLUTION: A plurality of illuminating devices 2 for photographing are buried in the ceiling face 12 and both side wall faces 13a and 13b of the main body 1 of a boxlike photographing room that is open at the front. In addition, auxiliary illuminating devices 3 for emitting luminous fluxes to the front of a person as a subject is buried in the floor face 11 of the main body 1 of the photographing room. The illuminating devices 2 for photographing and the auxiliary illuminating devices 3 steadily illuminate the entire space in the main body 1 of the photographing room. Also, a light quantity adjusting device is provided for varying the quantity of light emitted from the illuminating devices 2 and auxiliary illuminating devices 3. The light quantity adjustment device has an illuminating operation part disposed at a hand of a photographer operating a camera 6.
