PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stair lifting vehicle having a level difference traveling ability with high ground-contact adhesion degree for automatically maintaining the horizontal attitude of a vehicle and retaining stability of center of gravity. SOLUTION: A self-traveling mechanical stair lifting vehicle is provided with a horizontal attitude and stable center of gravity automatic maintaining mechanism for automatically moving an upper base 1 along cams 3 and 10 according to inclination of a lower vehicle base 5; and the level difference traveling ability with high ground-contact adhesion degree for automatically maintaining the horizontal attitude and the stable center of gravity by a planetary revolution wheel in which a plurality of wheels 7 to be driven are arranged around a planetary drive gear 8 in a planetary shape.
