PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular storage box and a sliding mechanism capable of reducing uneven movement speed of a sliding member in every product caused by individual different of an urging member at manufacturing and an assembling error. SOLUTION: In the vehicular storage box, a spring 60 for urging slide movement of a lid body 16 is arranged coaxially to a connection gear 51, and the storage box is provided with a hook part 61 provided on one end side of the spring 60 and fixed to the connection gear 51; and a fixed part 62 provided on the other end of the spring 60 and fixed to a base panel 41. Further, the storage box is provided with an operation part 63 arranged on a distal end of the fixed part 62 of the spring 60 to be projected from a lower surface of the base panel 41.
