PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spraying system which surely prevents a single liquid from spouting out and dripping from a two-fluid nozzle, and also provide a spraying method. SOLUTION: The spraying system is a system for preventing a single liquid from spouting out from a two-fluid nozzle N which forces a liquid L to collide with compressed air A to form very fine mist. When a pressure of the compressed air A does not satisfy a prescribed level due to various reasons while the system is operating, the inflow of the liquid A into the two-fluid nozzle N is urgently stopped. Further, when spraying is stopped or finished, atmospheric pressure is introduced into a liquid-flow path 1a adjacent to the nozzle, and then a residual liquid remaining in the liquid-flow path 1a is drained in a misty state from the two-fluid nozzle N.
