PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which can illuminate a desired place of a game area without being restricted regarding the layout of the game area. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is provided with a cover unit 28, a frame-like opening frame door, a transparent sheet-like light guide plate 60, and a lighting device 70. The cover nit 28 is arranged opposing a game board and covers the game area. The opening frame door 6 divides a visible area including an opposing area with the game area in the cover unit 28. The light guide plate 60 has an incident part 61 arranged in the vicinity of the opening frame door, a reflection part 63 where prism cut work is carried out and which opposes the prescribed part of the game area and a light guide part 62 arranged between the incident part and the reflection part, and is provided integrally with the cover unit 28. The lighting device 70 makes light incident toward the incident part 61 of the light guide plate 60. The light made incident on the incident part 61 of the light guide plate 60 from the lighting device 70 passes through the light guide part 62 and is reflected by the reflection part 63 to illuminate the prescribed part of the game area.
