A folding mobile telephone in which a first housing (102) and a second housing (104) are fixed by a hinge section (103), wherein the telephone has an exterior panel (101) fixed to the first housing (102) and an aromatic substance is received on the inside of the exterior panel (101). Rotating the hinge section (103) causes aroma to be emitted in association with operation by which the telephone is opened from a closed state. Also, timer control causes a sound generation body to operate at a preset time at a frequency that generates strong air vibration. As a result aroma of the substance is emitted to the outside by air vibration of the sound generation body. Aroma according to the time, place, and occasion can be emitted from the exterior panel of the telephone.
