<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly rupture a rupturing line of a skin by a smaller load. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle airbag door structure has a foaming layer 8 between a door member 6 and a skin 7, the door member 6 has a surface part 12 having a door part 11 to be opened by an airbag body 5 and a mounting leg part extended to surround the door part 11 from the back surface side of the surface part 12 and free to engage an air bag module 4 to bulge the airbag body 5, the skin 7 has a rupturing part 14 linearly extending roughly along a head end edge 15 at least roughly above the head end edge 15 of the door part 11, an extended part 26 to extend to a position above a circular arc 25 passing through the rupturing part 14 with a base end part 17 of the door part 11 as its revolving center is provided at least on a part of the head end edge 15 of the door part 11, and a rib 28 a head end of which is pointed and free to directly hit the rupturing part 14 is provided on this extended part 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
