<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television set which solves a drawback at the time of power-on in a utilization mode in which a video image from a signal extracting section and video images from external devices are displayed while switching them. <P>SOLUTION: The television set is provided with: a tuner 12 for extracting a broadcast signal Sa of a selected channel; and a control section 21 for causing a display section 16 to display a video image based on the broadcast signal Sa extracted by the tuner 12 and video signals based on external signals Sb input from the external devices 100a-100e via input terminals 23a-23e so that the signals are switched. If an external signal Sb is not input when the display section 16 displays a video image based on the external signal Sb immediately before a video image display stop operation, and a video image display start operation is executed after executing the display stop operation, the control section 21 causes the display section 16 to display a video image based on a broadcast signal Sa of a finally selected channel before executing the video display stop operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
