PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a printing instruction device, a printing system, a printing method, a program and a recording medium, capable of preventing loss of printing opportunity by effectively using a limited queue buffer.

SOLUTION: In this printer registering a plurality of print jobs in the queue buffer and processing the print jobs in registered order in the queue buffer; the print job is received from the printing instruction device (S101); a decision is made whether a free space is present in the queue buffer or not (S102); the priority of the print job is calculated from attribute information of the print job when the free space is present (S104); a decision is made whether the print job having the priority lower than the print job to be printed is present in the queue buffer or not (S105); and the print job is registered in the queue buffer in preference to the print job having lower priority when there is the print job having the lower priority (S106).
