<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience while maintaining safety in an environment mainly using AC power source. <P>SOLUTION: In the information processor, an AC power source control program 121 stores, when report of interruption of AC power supply is received from an OS 200, instruction information for instructing to start the system at the time of restart of AC power supply in a predetermined storage area (a register, etc.) within an EC 124A if setting information obtained from a power source control setting application 211 shows either one of "suspend", "hibernation" or "OFF", and requests transfer to an operation mode according to the setting information to the OS 200.
