PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve service life characteristics while maintaining high light emission efficiency in an organic electroluminescence element capable of emitting red light containing rubrene or the like in a light emitting layer as a host material. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element is provided with an anode, a cathode, and the light emitting layer arranged between the anode and the cathode. The light emitting layer contains a first host material of a specified tetracene compound≥50 wt.%, a second host material of a specified anthracene compound or a specified bianthracene compound <50 wt.%, and a light emitting material whose light emitting peak wavelength is longer than the first host material.
