PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording technology for a multilayered optical recording disk which requires only a small area for writing padding data at compatibility processing, whose mounting can be realized with simple processing and which is easily matched with a general file system. SOLUTION: When recording data in the multilayered optical recording disk provided with a plurality of recording layers, an NWA (Next Writable Address) being an address to be reference in writing data is determined for each of the plurality of recording layers and the data is recorded.
