PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a security device capable of safely and inexpensively transporting articles without imposing a burden on many security guards. SOLUTION: The security device comprises a strap connected with a device requiring guard and mooring a watchdog, a cardiac sound detector attached on the strap and arranged in the vicinity of a heart of the moored watchdog, a strap cutting detector for detecting cutting of the strap, a present location detecting device for detecting a present location of the device requiring guard, and a transmitter for transmitting signals of the cardiac sound detector, strap cutting detector, and present location detecting device. The security device continuously transmits information on a present location and present time for the device requiring guard and as to whether or not a strap mooring the watchdog is cut off to a base station, and confirms safety of the device requiring guard. When an accident occurs such that the strap is cut off or the watchdog is killed, this accident is transmitted to the base station after detecting the accident, and a rescue means is prepared.
