PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless improved in the strength of a can through a simple structure without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: In a brushless motor mounted on a water pump, an extension side rib 33 and a bottom side rib 34 are formed, respectively, at the extension portion 31 and the bottom portion 32 of a can 30 which allows inflow of liquid. These ribs are formed integrally with the can 30 by combining radial shape and annular shape. With these ribs, strength of the can 30 can be enhanced while reducing vibration of the can 30.
