PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scroll compressor capable of preventing large wear and adhesion in a sliding part and having a highly reliable thrust bearing. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor is provided with a fixed scroll 101 having spiral teeth on a base plate; an oscillating scroll 102 constituting a compression mechanism together with the fixed scroll 101 and having a boss 102a with spiral teeth formed on a base plate and with an oscillation bearing formed on the back face; a frame 104 having a recessed part 104e for storing the boss 102a of the oscillating scroll 102 and a thrust bearing 104f for supporting the oscillating scroll 102; and an Oldham ring 107 preventing the rotation of the oscillating scroll 102. The Oldham ring 107 is arranged between the base plates at outer peripheral sides of the respective spiral teeth of the oscillating scroll 102 and the fixed scroll 101. The approximately whole area of the back face of the oscillating scroll 102 excluding the boss 102a is brought into slide-contact with the approximately whole area of the thrust bearing 104f of the frame 104 excluding the recessed part 104e.
