PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning/heat insulating material for fittings capable of reducing waste to enhance effective use of resources, a transportation and installation method of fittings, and fittings. SOLUTION: When the cushioning/heat insulating material is permanently installed, a first face 31 and a second face 32 are set in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of a door frame 14 to fix a heat insulating material 30, and therefore, heat transfer via the door frame 14 to/from a wall 1 and a dressing room side is blocked to enhance heat insulation characteristics of a bathroom. In transportation, the second face 32 and a third face 33 are disposed in contact with the door frame 14 and the door 20 to set the heat insulation material 30 so that the door 20 is restrained from moving and stabilized. Thus, the heat insulation material 30 planned to be used as a heat insulating material in permanent installation is used as a cushioning material in transportation.
