PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new adhesive composition for dental use usable as a dental adhesive material of one-part one-step type. SOLUTION: The new adhesive composition for dental use is obtained by compounding (A) an acidic group-containing radical-polymerizable monomer such as 2-methacryloyloxyethyl hydrogenphosphate, (B) a titanocene-based compound and (C) water. This composition exhibits good curability on being irradiated with light, and when applied to dentine and expresses high adhesive strength compared to those using conventionally used photopolymerization initiators.
