PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage can which can easily be moved on an un-maintained road and allows easy refuse damping operation, and to which two types of garbage bags are installable. SOLUTION: This garbage can comprises a bottom plate 2, columns 3 vertically projecting from the bottom plate 2, a generally U-shaped support frame 5 installed on the upper parts of the columns, a handle 7 installed on the support frame 5 forward of the opening part and to which a garbage bag is hooked, and a moving member 4 installed on the bottom plate 2 and movable on the un-maintained road. After one garbage bag is positioned in the support frame 5, the area of the garbage bag near the opening part is folded back to the outside and hooked to the support frame 5 to open the opening part of the garbage bag. After the other garbage bag larger than the one garbage bag is positioned in the support frame 5, the area of the garbage bag near the opening part is folded back to the outside and hooked to the support frame 5 and the handle 7, and the opening part of the other garbage bag is opened.
