PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of picking and the like by keeping mechanical strength and broadening an open surface area. SOLUTION: A collapsible container 100 can be assembled in a box shape during usage, and can be collapsed in a plate shape having a smaller volume than the box during non-usage, and has a bottom plate part 106 arranged below an article to be housed during assembly, a plurality of sidewall parts 101 to 103 and 110 each standing on the side margin of the bottom plate part 106, and a plurality of covers 104 and 105 arranged on the upper margin side of a plurality of the sidewall parts 101 to 103 and 110. A least a part of the collapsible slide housing type sidewall 110 as one sidewall part of a plurality of the sidewall parts 101 to 103 and 110 moves to the bottom plate 106 to form an opening surface connecting to the surface on which the covers 104 and 105 are arranged.
