PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a function added to an attachment without enlarging a pipe passing space provided in a ram, and without requiring a change in ram size. SOLUTION: An attachment type head for a machine tool removable from the ram of the machine tool, includes: a coolant coupler for taking a coolant to two or more kinds of coolant discharge parts; a hydraulic coupler for taking oil pressure in two or more hydraulic actuators; and an electric connecting connector for driving a spindle motor and an electromagnetic switching valve.
