PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction nozzle body of a vacuum cleaner capable of wiping a cleaning object face over a wide range and facilitating the rectilinear property of traveling. SOLUTION: This suction nozzle body 9 is provided with a raised fabric 46 having multiple fiber bristles 52 and 58 positioned in an approximately vertical lower part of a communication pipe 13, disposed in the bottom face 20 of a body case 10, filling base fabrics 49 and 55 being approximately bilaterally-symmetric and having a same area, at a same density, projecting in the same direction by being inclined from a bristle-filling part 50 to the inward or outward back in the right-side base fabric 49 and projecting in the same direction by being inclined from the bristle-filling part 56 to the inward or outward back in the left-side base fabric 55 so as to be symmetric to the right side.
