A disk device (1-1) has a chassis (2) and an upper case (3) that form a disk device body, a door member (5), and a movement-side cam mechanism (6-1) as door member movement means. The chassis (2) has an opening (S1) for loading and unloading a disk, and the opening (S1) is formed in the direction of loading and unloading of the disk. The door member (5) is supported at the disk device body so as to be movable relative to the opening (S1) in the loading and unloading direction and is supported at the chassis (2) so as to be movable in the directions of opening and closing the opening (S1). In association with disk unloading operation, the movement-side cam mechanism (6-1) moves the door member (5) for closing the opening (S1) in the unloading direction out of the loading and unloading directions, and also moves the door member (5), separated from the opening (S1), in the direction of opening the opening (S1).
