<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct oxidation fuel cell capable of easily draining water condensed at a vent of a cathode board without adversely affecting conductivity of the cathode board. <P>SOLUTION: The direct oxidation fuel cell is provided with a membrane-electrode assembly placed at a center, with an anode member and a cathode member arranged to be stuck to both sides, and includes at least one electricity generation unit generating electric energy and moisture by reaction of fuel and oxygen. The cathode member includes a plurality of vents formed to be gradually expanded in diameter from a surface stuck to the membrane-electrode assembly towards a surface contacting the atmospheric air, a water draining line to drain water condensed at the vents formed on a surface contacting to the air, and an absorption member having a hydrophilic property adsorbing the water and formed on the water draining line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
