<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency power supply unit which can automatically control the output of a proper high-frequency electric current depending on a state of living tissue to be treated, and an electrosurgical apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This high-frequency power supply unit comprises: a high-frequency power generation part; a phase detecting part which detects a phase of each of a high-frequency voltage and the high-frequency current, outputted from the high-frequency power generation part; an impedance computing part which computes impedance on the basis of the magnitude of the high-frequency voltage outputted from the high-frequency power generation part, and that of the high-frequency current outputted from the high-frequency power generation part; a phase difference computing part which computes a phase difference of each of a high-frequency voltage and the high-frequency current, outputted from the high-frequency power generation part, on the basis of the phase of each of the high-frequency voltage and the high-frequency current; and a control part which performs control for outputting the high-frequency voltage and the high-frequency current with predetermined waveforms, on the basis of at least either of the impedance and the phase difference, and the output state of an instruction signal outputted from an operation instruction part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
