<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protective structure using a seat belt device for protecting an occupant from a secondary collision load in a side impact with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: When a webbing 24 is fitted to a waist part P1 of an occupant P during the webbing fitting, an inner pad 44 is arranged on an inner fitting side of the webbing 24 corresponding to the waist part P1 of the occupant P, and an outer pad 46 is arranged on the outer fitting side of the webbing 24 corresponding to the waist part P1 of the occupant P. In a side impact in this condition, the inner pad 44 and the outer pad 46 are deformed to absorb the secondary collision load F2 applied to the waist part P1 of the occupant P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
