PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-output flat motor by expanding the winding area. SOLUTION: In the flat motor, having a stator core constituted by coupling an arcuate yoke and a linear yoke, the Z angle of the width direction centerline of teeth, provided in a linear yoke is determined by connecting point A separated by an arbitrary distance a that extends horizontally in the direction of linear yoke from the central point of the motor, a point extending perpendicular to the direction of the arcuate yoke from an arbitrary distance b that extends horizontally in the direction of linear-shape yoke from the central point of the motor, and an intersection B that extends to the distal end of teeth at an angle K from the central point, where the distances a and b satisfy the relation 0<a<b; and when the number of slots in the stator core is N, the winding area is expanded by setting the angle K to satisfy the relation (360/2N-60/2N)°<K<(360/2N+60/2N)°and a high-output motor can be obtained.
