PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal capable of suppressing production of unevenness in emission light of a light diffusion member and suppressing degradation of a degree of design freedom. SOLUTION: The terminal includes: a fixed side case 11; a moving side case 13 provided openably/closably to the fixed side case 11 via a hinge 12; and a light emitting means 14 for displaying the prescribed state through the light emission. The light emitting means 14 is provided with an LED 20 being a light emitting element, and the light diffusion panel (light diffusion member) 21 for diffusing the emitted light from the LED 20 and emitting the diffused light. A center line S1 within a directive characteristic range S of the light emission of the LED 20 passes in a prescribed range H including a center C of a light incident face 21b in the light diffusion panel 21.
