PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable creation of printer-type data optimum in an allowable production line tact time even by an unexperienced worker. SOLUTION: Data about a printer-type name and the size recognition of a printed circuit board, data about screen recognition, and data about printing conditions and a printing quality, are input and stored in a RAM 31. Data about printing pressures of squeegees according to materials of the squeegees about moving speeds of the squeegees when the printing quality data are set at "high", "middle" and "low", data about timing of a depresser 7B of a moving member 7 in a substrate clamping mechanism 5 moving according to the thickness of a printed circuit board P, data about velocities and accelerations according to the size of the circuit board P in its X direction, and so on are stored in the RAM 31. Thus, when a completion switch 52 is depressed, printer-type data about the circuit board is created and tact time simulation is executed to display a board finish time on a monitor 46 under control of a CPU 30.
