PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously attain reduction in off-current, in a switching transistor and increase in an on-current in a current transistor, in a display apparatus. SOLUTION: The switching transistor is made to have an LDD(lightly-doped drain) structure or an offset structure, and the current transistor is made to have a self-aligned structure. Alternatively, the switching transistor and the current transistor are made to have an LDD structure or an offset structure, and the LDD length or the offset length of the switching transistor is made larger than that of the current transistor.
