PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control cable capable of holding an inner cable at a predetermined position without the need for an external holding mechanism to hold the inner cable at the predetermined position. SOLUTION: In the control cable 10, each time when the inner cable 14 is moved forward with the energizing force of an energizing spring 28 after moved backward, a positional relationship among a protruded portion 22a and an inclined portion 22b of a rotation stopper 22 as a locked portion, a guide groove 16b of an inside cap 16 as a guide portion, an inclined portion 16c of the inside cap 16 as a locking portion and an inclined portion 20b of a fixation stopper 20 is changed to change over the inner cable 14 between a non-movable condition and a movable condition.
