PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid flow cutoff mechanism capable of improving reliability while restraining pressure loss caused by installation. SOLUTION: This fluid flow cutoff mechanism is provided with an annular or cylindrical thermal fuse part 5 arranged along a circumferential direction of an inner surface of a flow passage 3 of fluid, and a filter part 7 arranged on the thermal fuse part 5 on the downstream side with respect to the flow of the fluid. The thermal fuse part 5 is formed by a material expansible by heating, and includes a plurality of closing pieces 9 comprising a member having heat resistance, and is covered by a coating layer 11 having resistance with respect to the fluid flowing through the flow passage 3. The filter part 7 exhibits heat resistance, and is formed by a member having a plurality of holes 7a through which the fluid can flow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
