1314314 Coating Be with Zn FUJITSU Ltd 19 April 1971 [3 April 1970] 23852/71 Heading C7F Be is electrolessly coated with Zn from an acid aqueous solution containing Zn<SP>++</SP> or F<SP>-</SP> with a Zn content of 0À35-14% wt. The acid solution may be prepared by dissolving ZnO, Zn(OH) 2 , Zn N, Zn S or Zn salts in an aqueous solution of 5- 50% wt HF or by dissolving a water soluble Zn salt in an aqueous solution of 5-20% wt. NH 4 HF 2 . The Be is preferably pretreated in an a aqueous solution of 5-15% wt HF or 5-15% wt H 3 PO 4 and then in an aqueous solution of 10-30% wt. HNO 3 . The pretreatment is effected at 10- 30‹C or the coating at 10-50‹C. A coating of Cu, Ag, Au, Ni or Cr may be deposited on the Zn layer. |
