<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new platelet activating factor (PAF) receptor antagonist capable of inexpensively and simply being prepared in large amounts and a composition for treatment and/or prophylaxis of bronchial asthma, osteoporosis and/or anaphylaxis containing the new PAF receptor antagonist. <P>SOLUTION: The present inventor found that extracts of fishes and shellfishes such as edible parts of cuttlefish, bonito testis and bonito ovary each comprise a substance having PAF receptor antagonist activity.
