<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driver, capable of simultaneously, controlling step-up and motor drive as a step-up type motor driver that does not use a reactor, and to provide an automobile using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driver is used for driving a motor having a double winding structure, wherein first three-phase windings U, V, W and second three-phase windings U*, V*, W* are wound around a stator, has first and second inverters Inv1, Inv2 which are connected to the first and the second three-phase windings and controls the inverters and controls the drive force of a double winding structure type motor.
