<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device of an outboard motor capable of avoiding an increase in size and weight by actively using the characteristic of a hydraulic cylinder of a single rod reciprocation type. <P>SOLUTION: The steering device of the outboard motor has a hydraulic cylinder 60 of the single rod reciprocation type for turning the outboard motor 10 with respect to a hull 12 when the cylinder is expanded/contracted.
