<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing leakage of fluid from a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A separator is used which has a plate laminate having a plurality of laminated plates. The plate laminate has a fluid passage in the inside, which is surrounded by two or more plates from among a plurality of plates, and each plate of the plate laminate is jointed mutually so as to seal the fluid passage.
