<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer optical disk having a plurality of recording layers having no eccentricity in terms of preciseness of a track level and a method of manufacturing such a multilayer optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the multilayer optical disk having the plurality of recording layers includes: a substrate formation (a) forming a disk substrate 10 having the first recording layer; a transparent layer forming process (b) forming a transparent layer on the first recording layer; a recording film forming process (d) forming a recording film for changing the state by irradiating the transparent layer with laser; a laser shaping process (e) for performing shape formation or mark formation of a second recording layer by irradiating the recording film with laser while rotating the disk substrate 10; and a PC film forming process (g) forming a transparent layer on the recording film where the shape formation or the mark formation of the second recording layer is performed. In the laser shaping process, the disk substrate 10 is irradiated with two laser beams through one objective lens 23 and tracking servo control is performed by the reflected light of the first laser beam.
