摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording and reproducing apparatus that achieves reduction in the number of optic components items, low cost and downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing information in a hologram disk 216 comprises a green laser 210, a SLM (spatial light modulator) (DMD: deformable mirror device or digital micromirror device) 204, a pair of relay lenses 208, 210, a dichroic beam splitter BS311, an objective lens 214, a COMS sensor 219, and a red laser 220. Reference light 205 and information light 206 as information recording and reproducing light from the green laser 210 and servo light from the red laser 220 are coaxially unified on the dichroic beam splitter BS311.
