<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a processing for preventing an outline-like void domain from occurring around a black domain. <P>SOLUTION: When a color image is formed by a multiple system, an undercoat elimination processing (refer to (A)) for blanking the corresponding regions on C, Y, M images is performed for the image data of K, C, Y, M with regard to a black domain on a K image having a K density of a threshold or above, and then trapping (refer to (C)) for correcting the image data to contract only in the direction corresponding to the moving direction of an intermediate transfer body is performed for the blank domain in the image out of the C, Y, M images where the moving speed of the intermediate transfer body varies during transfer to the intermediate transfer body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
