<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare verification device capable of checking the operation of a fare calculation means even if test data limited to a necessity minimum is used. <P>SOLUTION: The fare verification device 1 groups stations to which the fare is the same from a reference station selected from a network of lines based on the information on valid sections of season tickets, and extracts a representative station from each group. The device sets each representative station to either a boarding station or an exiting station, sets a station having the reference station between this station and the representative station, or the reference station to the other of the boarding station or the exiting station based on the predetermined conditions, and generates the information on the use section consisting of the boarding station and the exiting station. A judgment means judges whether first fare data calculated by a fare calculation means based on the information on the use section corresponds with second fare data calculated by a fare calculation means for verification based on the information on the use section. By this arrangement, test ticket data can be reduced significantly, and the judgement on the fare calculated by the fare calculation means can be implemented in a sure manner with a little boarding and exiting information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
