PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of preventing any direct transmission of the vibration to a controller arranged close to an electric motor by absorbing the vibration of the electric motor for providing the auxiliary supporting force to a steering system. SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device, an electric motor 12 for providing the auxiliary steering force to a steering system, and a control unit 15U equipped with a controller for controlling the conductive state to the electric motor according to the steering torque of the steering system are arranged close to each other.
