PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive objective lenses in a focus direction, a tracking direction and a tilt direction and to reduce undesired resonance. SOLUTION: This optical pickup is provided with: a lens holder 2 to which the objective lenses 21 and 22 are attached and which is moved in the focus direction F parallel with the optical axes of the objective lenses 21 and 22 and the tracking direction T perpendicular to the direction of the optical axes of the objective lenses 21 and 22; a support block 3 for supporting the lens holder 2 movably in the focus direction F and the tracking direction T; a support member 4 for supporting the support block 3 tiltably with respect to a base 8; and a driving means 5 for giving the support block 3 driving force for tilting the support block 3 in an axial rotation direction with a tangential direction Tz as an axis and tilting the lens holder 2 supported by the support block 3, wherein a vibration suppressing means 7 for suppressing vibrations of the support block 3 is provided between the support block 3 and the base 8.
