PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily enhance the optical axis accuracy of a lens holder while guiding the upper end and the lower end of the lens holder by a separate member. SOLUTION: In the lens actuator, upper and lower cases 6a and 6b have side surfaces 30a, 30b, 30c and 30d; 33a, 33b, 33c and 33d pressed against adjusting tools 200 and 300 for adjusting the assembly accuracy of the upper and the lower cases 6a and 6b relative to a plane parallel with an optical axis O direction and crossing with each other while forming a predetermined angle, and the crossing part of the side surfaces is formed as an engaging part engaged in and supported by the notched parts 202 and 302 of the adjusting tools 200 and 300. Therefore, the assembly accuracy of the upper and lower cases 6a and 6b is enhanced just by pressing a pair of side surfaces of the upper and the lower cases 6a and 6b against the adjusting tools 200 and 300.
