PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method which can obtain high-reliability measurements of an object to be measured in a sample, using oxidation reduction reaction. SOLUTION: In this method, prior to the oxidation reduction reaction, at least either a sulfonic acid compound or a nitro compound is added to the sample, to eliminate influence as reducing substance for hemoglobin and hemoglobin resolvent contained in the sample. After that, making the reducing substance or oxide derived from the measuring object to be generated reduced, the amounts of these substances are measured by using the oxidation-reduction reaction. Then amount of the measuring object can be determined from this result of the measurements. As the sulfonic acid compound sodium lauryl sulfate can be used, and as the nitro compound, 4-nitrophenol, and the like may be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
