PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use airflow which passed through a heat exchanger as airflow for compensating lack of suction airflow to an axial fan and to substantialize both energy conservation and quietness. SOLUTION: An electric box 13 incorporating an electric component is arranged on the inner face of a casing front plate 1a of a main body casing 1 composing the outdoor unit for an air conditioner. An airflow passage 14 for allowing secondary air W after flowing through the heat exchanger 4 to flow through is formed between the electric box 13 and the casing front plate 1a. By operation of the axial fan 2, the secondary air W sucked in from an air suction port 3 and passed through the heat exchanger 4 is supplied to the axial fan 2 via the airflow passage 14 formed between the casing front plate 1a and the electric box 13.
